A greenish mould widely utilised in agriculture as a biocontrol agent against other fungal pathogens. In homes, it appears on damp surfaces, including wet wood, wallpaper, or carpets, where it can form circular patches of dense growth. Although T. harzianum is generally low-risk, high spore concentrations can provoke allergies. Keeping indoor environments dry and promptly handling water leaks are effective control measures.
